Brothers and sisters in Christ, we urgently need to understand our enemy.
No, he is not a boogeyman, a caricature or a figment of your imagination. Although, because you cannot physically see him, I understand it can feel that way sometimes.
We can carry on in our daily lives, thinking this is God’s wonderful creation —and it is in essence, but if we do not recognise the workings of the enemy, we are rendered as dupes and at the mercy of his weaponry. More practically, there is a mindset that Satan’s followers, his soldiers, his forces have adopted, that is of the highest order of evil, that we must be alert to.
I don’t write those words lightly. These are real, practical insights I want to share with you my beloved brothers and sisters. This is a warning about a predatory mindset that destroys lives, families, institutions, and nations—often while smiling, often while claiming moral authority, and often while demanding your trust.
Every single day, an increasing number of people are recognising the dark forces are at work in the fields of politics, celebrity, science and without a doubt, hiding among the Body of Christ itself. Some will even refer to these forces and individuals as “satanic”. At Lighthouse Global we have publicly referred to the BBC—and certain journalists who work there—as “satanic.” Many people react strongly to that word. Some assume we mean theatrics. Some assume we mean mere hostility. Some assume we mean personal insult.
That is not what I mean.
I mean something far more specific—and far more dangerous: a particular spiritual and psychological posture that causes more destruction than any gun, any missile, any nuclear bomb ever could.
If you are a Christian, you need to understand this clearly. Not so you can become paranoid—but so you can become discerning. And not so you can hate people—but so you can refuse the spirit that is trying to recruit you, weaponise you, and then discard you.
Satan’s Modus Operandi: Targeting You To Go To Hell With Him
Satan hates God, and Satan knows he is hell-bound. He is not aiming for reconciliation. He is not “competing fairly.”
Satan’s objective is not “victory” in any constructive sense, despite what many people think. He knows he has already lost this war. He knew that when he rebelled against God in the heavens and took one third of the angels with him. He knew it without a doubt, when Jesus Christ rose from death in God’s Spirit, undefeated. He knows it as every minute, hour and day goes by, while Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God. He knows that any day now, Jesus Christ and the heavenly angels will come to finish this war, and condemn Satan to hell for all eternity.
So why does this vile creature who once was so close to God, fight so hard and cause so much destruction to humanity?
Because, now that he is defeated, his obsession is to take as many human souls with him to hell. If he cannot be God, then he will do everything in his might to destroy as much of God’s creation as possible along with him.
The most efficient way to achieve his goal is through dissipation: to separate you from God, separate you from truth, separate you from the Body of our Lord, separate you from courage, separate you from repentance. To render you a dissipated mess, bound for hell.
Jesus Christ Himself encapsulated this demonic modus operandi with devastating clarity: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” (John 10:10)
He is possessed by rage and is doing everything in his power to take as many people as possible to hell with him. Don’t you see? He’s not trying to win this war… he knows he can’t. He’s trying to make you lose along with him and his demonic minions.
The Satanic Spirit is Lose-Lose
In a nutshell then, the satanic mindset is this:
When a person—or an institution—realises they cannot win, instead of surrendering, they choose to destroy anyone and everyone around them. If they cannot win, they are prepared to lose, as long as they take you with them.
That is the shift from ordinary selfishness into something far darker: a spirit that will burn down the house while they are still inside, as long as their enemy is in there with them.
This is more devastating than militant ignorance—it’s not just seeking to destroy in malevolent denial of the truth. It’s an attitude of, “I’m going to hell and I’m going to take as many people with me as possible.” This happens in a myriad of overt and covert ways.
And Scripture tells us exactly how convincing this refusal can feel from the inside: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)
Militant ignorance is satanic because it is the mindset that preserves the lie at all costs—even if the cost is you, your neighbour, your children, and ultimately the whole society. Even if it is their own children. It is not logical. It is not fair. It is not rational. It is not even sensible. It is literally hellbent on self- and mutual-destruction.
Again, Christ forewarned us of this nearly 2,000 years ago.
“Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” – Matthew 10:21-22
When American soldiers fought Japan in World War II, there was one terrifying and unstoppable type of soldier in the Japanese army: the Kamikaze pilot — literally a suicide soldier.
How do you fight a soldier who has literally been sent to kill themselves and you at the same time?
This is the same pathology we are dealing with when it comes to the satanic kingdom of darkness; people who will literally destroy everything they are and own just so they can try and spite you, hurt you, ruin your reputation, even kill you in the flesh. They don’t care about their own lives, they don’t care about what’s right and fair, they just want to see you suffer.
Kamikaze pilots flew planes that were loaded with extra fuel and bombs, which they would use to make sure that their target was destroyed1. And the same is true for those who serve Satan.
Case Study of the Satanic Mindset: The BBC
We have a myriad of examples we can use, like Michael Bint of the Insolvency Service, or Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, Martin Francis… and many, many others… but we have to start with one of the greatest modern proponents of Satanic self- and mutual-desecration globally, the BBC.
When an institution is confronted with wrongdoing, it has only two genuine paths.
A repentant institution says, “We were wrong; here is what happened; here is what we will do to put it right.”
A satanic institution says on the other hand, “We will not confess; we will not correct, we are the arbiter of truth, impartiality and public interest; and we will target you to make you pay with your lives for daring to challenge us.”
This is why I say the BBC is rife with militant ignorance. It is not only saturated with a refusal to acknowledge wrongdoing, a refusal to face abuse, a refusal to face criminality and the downstream harm this causes to the public. It is actively seeking to destroy anyone who gets in its way, even its own employees, while it self-destructs.
They have paid disgusting lip service to the atrocious abuse of hundreds of vulnerable children by Jimmy Savile. They have forced his victims to sign Non Disclosure Agreements with outrageous financial settlements, in some cases as low as £3,000 in cases of multiple rapes —of children.
They are spewing out more and more individuals who have been found guilty of some form of sexual abuse, not least the likes of their formerly heralded news anchor Huw Edwards. They continue to force the British public to pay for a licence fee and are even threatening to increase that fee again. They attack and seek to destroy the likes of myself, our Christian community at Lighthouse Global, as well as the likes of Tommy Robinson, Rupert Lowe, even medical doctors who stood up for vulnerable patients during the Covid crisis, like David Cartland.
Our team of brothers and sisters in Christ at Lighthouse Global spent months, peacefully, legally and lawfully protesting outside the BBC’s headquarters in London, seeking a full and comprehensive right to reply. With very little resources at our disposal after these heinous, murderous attacks, the BBC again, ignored, sought to censor and even mocked these brave souls.
This is what the satanic lose-lose spirit looks like at scale: instead of admitting and correcting, the institution like the BBC actually focuses on their targets even more. They increase the poisonous attacks, increase the deception and exploit citizens even more (including through the forced licence fee), while continuing to posture as the moral authority.
Christ gave us a sober diagnostic for such realities: “You will recognize them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16)
They are not just any Bad Bidding Corporation… they are satanic. It is not just about how they respond once they’ve caused harm and damage.
Their charge orders are to do Satan’s bad bidding. They start young by working on children through propaganda and have been doing so for decades. They have installed themselves as supposedly, the most trusted news outlet in the UK. That is a cover so that they can lure you into a living hell, and eventually an eternal hell. They want you to be duped and fooled by their satanic propaganda to give up your freedoms, your conscience, your good sense and be part of their cult. Of course that isn’t stated overtly in their charter. Why would they confess to that? No, they parade and present themselves as an angel of light, while those at the top tier of Establishment behind them know who their father is.. they know where they are going and they want to take you with them!
The Urgent Need for Christian Love, Unity and Advocacy
This mindset is everywhere in our society, because it is not merely psychological—it is spiritual. As I have shared, it is in every institution, from the government to the media. We as Christians have a target on each and every single one of us. Not just to be attacked or persecuted… no. The fate that the satanic spirit wants for us is eternal. They want to drag us into hell while thinking we are waltzing into heaven. They deceive and seduce through a myriad of ways, including comfort and complacency. If this continues unchecked, it is civilisation crashing and burning by its own hand—because a lose-lose spirit will always choose mutual destruction over humble repair.
So I want to end with an urgent call to the Body of Christ.
We must come together—quickly and seriously—in the spirit of Christian love, unity and advocating for one another.
You cannot negotiate a healthy future with a lose-lose spirit. You can only expose it, refuse it, and build something better—together—under God.

True Godly Spirit is built in a state of communion, in community. It is not found in rugged individuals who gather together and call themselves a “church” because they sing a few hymns and listen to the Bible vaguely. No, true love, unity and advocacy is who Jesus Christ is. He was and is willing to die for us, not to drag us into hell, but to lift us into His Kingdom. And that same love, He calls upon for us to live with…

Paul, thank you. I did not see this spirit for what it is. Even though I’ve experienced it first hand, I could not discern what I was dealing with. That’s an altogether different type of enemy. I’m struck by Satan’s obsession – he knows he’s lost, yet convincing everyone else under his rule that they can win. That is evil itself, making them think they can beat God just like he did with 1/3 of the angels. I am so thankful for God’s mercy that I even have the awareness of who He is and that I’m being pruned out of the darkness into the light of Christ. I see the BBC more clearly as a sinking ship that’s trying to take anyone and everyone down with it. It makes sense now. This isn’t a war between two sides competing for victory. It’s a war where Christ and His army has won, and a whole array of kamikaze soldiers for Satan. Phew. God bless and protect your work on Targeted…! I and we need this urgently.

Wow that video brings back memories…what I appreciate about this article is the wisdom and guidance to help me become aware and discern of the enemy that is hiding in plain sight. If I don’t know what I am dealing with then I become a lot more susceptible to Satanic evil. I can see why the BBC is a very appropriate example of discussing this topic. This is such an important article because it reveals the reality beyond the angel of light facade that the BBC wants to maintain with the public. Re-watching the video brought back memories of the personally witnessing the cold indifference from BBC staff walking past bold signs highlighting the extent of child sexual abuse since Jimmy Savile’s abuses were revealed to the world.
It is a satanic spirit that not only perpetrates such heinous abuse, but also covers it up. This is an illustration of the BBC Savile Syndrome.
Once we were interviewing the public in other parts of the UK, we got to see how disgusted much of the British public is about the BBC. Many feel that way without even being aware of the satanic spirit behind it, which shows how palpable the fruits of the BBC’s evil are.
Phew—thank you for this deeply considered guidance and rallying call to Christians, urging us to truly understand the satanic spirit and to resist it—guarding and protecting ourselves through Christ (James 4:7).
We are living in increasingly perilous times, and we may not always recognise what is happening unless it is right in front of us. All the more reason—indeed, a crucial need—for citizens and Christians to come together, especially as many Christians face significant targeting.

Thank you for shining a light on these deep areas of truth. Satan knows he has lost, but he still tries to take people with him to hell. Our children are being indoctrinated into an education system that is set up and controlled by the Establishment, and government organisations, including the BBC, the mouthpiece of the Establishment, try to control people. It’s all a power game that leads to a huge amount of suffering. Thank you for the call for Christians to unite, to love each other, and to stand up against evil.

We Christians really do need to come together as urgently as we can as teh Body of Christ. This world is getting ever so dark and so many are deceived and duped, as I have been and am becoming less so. They say well that the greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist. The Bible makes it clear for us that Satan is the prince of this world and the spiritual principalities that govern it (under allowance by God) are his too. When Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden the world was cursed with them and we need to remember and remind ourselves as much as we can that what we live in here isn’t what God originally designed and intended for us. I know even after coming to Christ and Christianity, it’s taken me years for that reality to sink in deeply enough that I can see better how duped and naive I was about what is really happening here. I’ve experienced that spirit in people who have been the closest to me in life, that would rather I lose and take me down with them than accept the truth that Christ is. That lose-lose spirit. At first I resented it and them for it, but I have come to recognise it for what it is more and to feel how tragic and destructive it is to those filled with it, because they do not have the hope and peace of God in them. I can honestly say though too, that I’ve never come across an organisation that exuded this spirit more than the BBC. God help them and let us pray for them!

Thank you for the education and inspiration. It has been hard to accept, but I see how this is part of the conditioning, that how I see and feel is orchestrated from a macro place. There is too much possibility for the education system, for instance, to be better, so it cannot be by accident that it is not helping people become self sufficient. It is there that I feel I cannot win. Now you say that, I am more tuned to seeing it in society. I laugh at the Gen Z clips of teenagers not being able to do simple maths, 8+3=?, but not so much now, more with horror what’s been done to them. I just feel it is my responsibility to break this curse.

The satanic spirit can be seen everywhere but we have not been educated to see it within many institutions, policies we have to live by, everywhere.
