Paul S Waugh’s Daily Prayer – Why Do People Go to Hell For Rejecting God? – 23rd Feb, 2026

Grace and peace in Christ to you,

Morning. Morning our Father, our Dad, our Commander-in-Chief, our Protector, Lord Protector, the ultimate and eternal and infinite MI5, the ultimate intelligence of the world. So, without measure, without limit, we come on this call today of what we are a part of.

You know Father, we see so little. And every day I can pray about something different because every day I see more about more. Not just more horizontal, more vertical, more depth.

And something that I understood many years ago and I understand with clarity. Things I’ve doubted and things I’ve questioned that you’ve answered. For example, Father, when I could not understand that You would give us choice, yet You would still send somebody to hell for eternity.

I could not understand that, Father. I could not understand scriptures like and verses like, if you reject our Lord, if you reject God, then you are damned.

Why would they have to, why would they have to be damned because they rejected You? Why aren’t they allowed to reject You even given their choice? And that’s what most of these heathens say. While trying to deny your existence, they’re trying to challenge your morality. It just doesn’t even add up!

Slowly but surely, You’ve nudged me in the right direction to perspicuity and understanding what is it, why a verse like that is not ruthless, why it’s logical, why it’s natural, why it’s supernatural. You gave us choices. And what choice means, we can make bad ones.

And with bad choices come bad consequences. But why rejecting You? Why is that bad? And the answer initially, Father, You nudged me towards the perspicuity of it. It was just amazing.

It made me realise that rejecting your Father when your Father has created you and lovingly provided you everything is already heinous!

Why would you want to do that for someone who’s loved you and given you so much and then granted you… told you what your inheritance was? All you had to be is be a family for you to get that inheritance? To be part of the family of God to get the inheritance of God. Well, that’s the same everywhere here.

You can’t be rejected. You can’t reject the family and reject people that be scathing about a parent or father the whole life and then still get inheritance. You reject that inheritance, you reject your father, you reject the family, you reject everybody, and you reject the inheritance.

You can’t still get the inheritance. God saved everyone else who’s part of that family, who put the work in, who put their belief and their heart and their soul into working. That’s just an imperfect family.

Imagine a perfect family. You can’t do that in perfection. And that was a simple understanding that although You give us choices, there are bad choices, evil choices, nasty choices, horrible, heinous, murderous choices, and that there are consequences that are terrible.

So when you damn God, you damn all what God means. It’s not this personal standoff alone, although it is. That we’re living in this goldfish bowl and that You are oxygenating it through Your spirit all the time.

It’s quite remarkable, Father, that we are made in You. Not in some dimension like animals are made in. It’s a different dimension.

We are made in, yes, a different dimension to You in our flesh, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, we’re made in You. We’re planted in Your spirit. We are made in Your image and we are living in Your image.

And Your image isn’t just a picture on a wall. This image means body, heart, mind, and spirit. We are made in your image in a variety of different ways, even physically.

So, Father, again, You nudge me in the right direction. If I was born to my mother like I was born to You, then my mother would know every single thought I’m thinking. Because if I was born in her image, spiritually in her image, not just fleshly in her image, but I was born in her spirit, born into her emotional intelligence, born into her mind, and that I lived and breathed in these emotional, mental, and spiritual umbilical cords, the fleshly, the flesh umbilical cord got cut off.

And if I was born with an umbilical cord that didn’t get cut off, I would still be attached to her. I would still be feeding through her. I would still be eating through her.

But You cut it off. So, my body is separate. But imagine if my emotional, mental, and spiritual umbilical cords weren’t cut off.

She’d know exactly what I think, would be able to communicate to me telepathically, would be able to communicate to me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually without talking. It’s exactly the same as You. We are connected to You by way of an umbilical, spiritual umbilical cord, an emotional umbilical cord.

We’re connected to You by way of a mental umbilical cord and a physical one. Physical in that, what people don’t realise is that they can cut off the emotional, mental, and spiritual umbilical cords. But if they did that physically, they would die instantly.

And I think many do. When we realise that we’re not these separate entities, we’re part of this interdependent whole, Father. When You’ve nudged us enough to realise this, then I can pray in thanks.

And I can have this conversation with You. A conversation that not only glorifies You and Your creation with me in it and us in it, but we’re able to learn from each other in prayer as well. That’s a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Father, I want to thank You for these distinctions that You’ve helped me with. And that we’re now sharing through prayer. While we’re learning these things, glorifying You simultaneously.

What genius, and only You, again, would nudge me in the direction to pray in this way.

We request that You help us Theochristological, human, material, financial, to optimise the value. So what does that even mean in a secondary function? Never having to say ‘no’, where we ought to say ‘yes’, in You, in Your glory, in Your name.

Within that your name, your holy name. That’s holy, not partial. Holy, holy.

On that basis, you are whole and perfectly whole. Hence, not W-H wholly, but H-O-L-Y Holy. Perfect, infinite, whole.

Holy, H-O-L-Y. Whole, not perfect, not eternal, not infinite. W-H-O-L-L-Y.

Thank You for the distinction of just language to helping us understand these distinctions. That’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. Intellectually spiritual, intellectually mental, intellectually physical, intellectually emotional, intellectually, broadly, deeply, roundly, so that we can be those value builders.

Never having to say no to a child, never having to say no, ever!

How blessed are we for You. We could have been where we were five years ago.

We’re not.

We’re here.

Could have been where we were one week ago.

We’re not. We’re here.

We could have been where we were yesterday, but we’re not, we’re here.

Better today than yesterday. Appreciate these prayers more today than yesterday. What a beautiful thing to be able to sit down with You, without warning, just barge into Your life in prayer!

No schedule, no one running Your diary. Just whenever you’re ready, I’m ready for you. What an eternal and infinitely Holy God you are.

How glorious You are, Father. You are awesome. You are glorious, and we praise You, Father.

We are so fortunate to be in Your love, in Your arms, in Your protection, in Your direction, in Your care, in Your eternal and infinite plan. Thank You. Thank You.

Thank You. Thank You. We ask this through Your beautiful and beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
