Paul S. Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer to Be Humbled Before God’s Glory – 12th Jan, 2026

Greetings in Christ everyone,

Here’s today’s Daily Prayer:

Morning Father,

Thank you for Your constant awareness, attention, and growing attention and interest in us, in our work, that whatever our intention is and aim is, whether it’s never having to say no, where we ought to say yes, whether it’s optimise and maximise, what is Theochristological, human, material, financial.

It’s always to reveal where we can with Your help, Your glory. Because when the right person sees Your glory Father, and this is only my experience, please, when I saw Your glory I couldn’t look away. And I don’t believe I’m the only one, by any stretch of the imagination, not that I know everything, as You know.

Father, once you see Your glory, and Your heart, as fast as it is, and as dark and hard as it is, it yearns for truth and light, when you see that glory, you can’t look away, much as it hurts sometimes. Unbearably sometimes, Your glory, it hurts.

The lights are bright, the truths so painful, so real, so decisively punishing, as it is liberating, empowering, fortifying, beautiful, safe, eternal, infinite.

We realise not to fear the flesh… and its damage, and what can be damaged, and the death of it, because 99.999999, moving into eternity, infinity, is not flesh, is not flesh.

We are eternal, and we’re infinite, and we’re immortal, and it’s a case of where we spend our time, and our experience of that immortality. Not if, but what, but what, and not only what, but why, not only why, but when. Not only when, but who, not only who, but where, and not only where, but how.

And so our learnings go on.

Lord, thank You so much for everything You are doing here. For helping us focus now, finally, on everything we do here. I’m just now, with your help, with your love, with your direction, completed the second lie, in the space of four words, “A Very British cult”. It’s astonishing. Satanic genius.

And these initial lies will set the trends, will set the way. We don’t need to be doing this for You, Father. We don’t need to be doing this for Your body.

But we do need to be doing this for Your glory, and for Your truth. And we do need to be doing this, Father. Father, please guide us, please direct us, please work on our hearts, please have us immerse ourselves in You, and commit to working, and living, and producing value, Theochristological, human, material, financial, ongoing, with breadth and depth and height, and it’s never ceasing, and to love it, and enjoy it, and embrace it, and to move out of our level one cow pat state, which is level one, and into our level four, spirited, hearted, minded, intellectual, physical reality.

Lord, I ask You to guide us through this. I ask You to forgive our many sins and shortcomings. Through your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
