Paul S Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer to Be Filled With God’s Holy Spirit – 14th Feb, 2026

Grace and peace in Christ to you,

Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, these prayers are taken from the last several years of Paul’s journey with our Lord. They are incredibly valuable to witness his ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Father,

We, as best as we can, as fools come humbly before You, as best we can, as fallen individual and collective perfection, that has fallen so far from grace, we actually are clueless! There’s not a human being on this earth that I can’t honestly say is clueless. You know, it’s that extent of what You created and where we are now, the variance gap is so massive.

It’s beyond comprehension, yet arrogance still exists is beyond me. It is beyond me in me and beyond me in others. I mean, the amount of spirit You can give us, I mean, it’s just so small.

It’s like microscopic. It’s like, I don’t even know what to call it. It’s like subatomic.

It’s just, I don’t know. Goodness gracious me, we don’t know anything. There’s the point.

We really don’t and, You know, I value our brother Tom Hasker’s feedback with all the people he’s admired over the years and how much, for example, Newton wrote more… I mean, he’s one of the science fathers, early scientific fathers. He wrote more about You.

He wrote more about Your glory. He wrote more about the unanswered questions, the questions that will never be answered until You’re ready to answer them and it won’t be any time soon. It’s on a need to know basis or a need for You to want to tell us basis and, You know, really, I mean, seriously, you’ve got a Bible full of stuff that we don’t know about. I mean, get on with it. I get it. You’re asking questions when we haven’t even begun to ask what’s happening.

In the Word You have provided, the Logos You have provided in the context of You being the Logos itself, which is eternal and infinite knowledge, not just what’s in the Bible and the Bibliography, you see. Oh, Father, we pray that you just, You feed our human spirits with Yours. I pray you leave none of us out.

I pray for our families, every one of them, every one of our families here. You know, You know better. You know, You know how You establish choice, the price billions of people have paid, billions, some way more than others, but billions of people have paid so that choice and therefore love can be made manifest and is possible because of choice.

The price we paid for choice is just enormous from the fall of grace from paradise lost, to moving back into grace, starting with Your Holy Spirit as perfectly graceless people without You. And I use the word perfectly, in that, we couldn’t be more graceless. To grant us, Father, your Spirit.

All of us, our families, You. Look, I pray it knowing that it isn’t possible for it all to happen all across the world, but where it can and where it will and where You shall and where it’s right. I want You to know that I earnestly yearn all of them to come to You.

Earnestly yearn every one of our enemies, all the haters, all the, you know, the tyrants, the treachery and the treacherous and the hearts.

The satanic spirit behind it that where it’s possible, Father, at all, to feed the hearts of those people with Your Spirit and knowing full well, only if it is in Your will and only if it is in their will and only if it will be in their will at some point where it’s possible and where it’s right to bring them forward, to bring forward and they will serve You sooner. Closer to the people here than ought to have the love and ought to have the family and connection with these family members. But we thank You for filling our hearts up every day with Your Spirit, Father, my Lord, and empowering us, our human spirits, You see, with just Your gorgeous Holy Spirit, which is just full of every one of those fruitages, love, joy, peace to start with. I mean, just those three, if there were just three of them, what joy, what peace, what love.

See, those three, they cover everything. You know, you can’t have a treacherous heart with love in your Spirit and Spirit in your heart, with joy in your Spirit and Spirit in your heart and peace in your Spirit and peace in your heart.

And You are slowly but surely teaching our hearts to receive such love and such joy as your Spirit and all the other fruitages that go with it. And with our hearts, we can serve with that love, joy, and peace. We can serve with true kindness and benevolence and wisdom, yet at the same time become in you, in your name, warriors of the light, of what is right, of the way, the truth, and the life. And with You, our Lord, to be courageous, to be bold, to be brave, which is exactly what a treacherous heart is. A treacherous heart is cowardly.

A treacherous heart it acts bold, and it acts bolshy, and it acts cocky, and it acts arrogant, and it acts clever. It isn’t. It’s filled with insecurity.

It’s filled with cowardice. It’s absolutely prop full of toxic, human, graceless waste. And for us to cleanse ourselves, every cell and every part of all of us individually and collectively of such treachery, with open and clear and strong and truthful paths through the way and the life, that it’s You. We pray and ask You… that this very day we take that to a new level.

And every day after, as we move into Your way, truth, and life, and move into Your Spirit and your perfection, we are restored back to our power source, our non-treacherous, non-tyrannical, non-evil, non-satanic, non-Luciferian, non-anti-loving… but fully loving, fully peaceful, fully joyful, fully compassionate, fully empathic, fully kind, filled with courage, power, self-control, balance, measured wisdom, deep, broad, substantial.

What a life we have to look forward to in You. And that every second spent seeking and revelling and living and breathing in Your love, in Your Spirit, in Your kindness, Your goodness, your wisdom, and Your work, the less treacherous we’ll be, and the less, with the treacherous, we can experience the treacherous, with that courage, with that love, with that confidence, with that faith.

And through all of this, in Your name, as we take a moment now, just a few seconds of silence to repent. As we take a few seconds of silence, just to feel contrition, as we take a few seconds of silence, in and within, through You, in stillness, to forgive those who trespassed against us. And just with a few seconds of silence, in Your name, in Your presence, we repent from trespass against them, as we have You, our dear, dear, dear, dear Lord, who’s never, ever done anything wrong to us, and everything right. And wants every right thing for us, in the Spirit You have given us, and through that Spirit, to the fullest extent of that Spirit, the repentance we feel, in Your name.

We love and adore You, we admire You. In your glorious name, Amen.
