Grace and peace in Christ to you,
Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, these prayers are taken from the last several years of Paul’s journey with our Lord. They are incredibly valuable to witness his ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Father, our Lord,
We repent. We bow our heads, we slump our shoulders, we fall on our face, but only and only and only to You.
No one else, to You, to You! We let our heads drop, we slump our shoulders, we fall on our face, we fall on our knees, we clasp our hands and our jaws hit the floor. Only you, where we become wide-eyed in wonder of Your glory.
Because You are the only one who truly deserves that, who has the power to naturally bring us into a state of absolute humility, of absolute reality, of absolute contrition, of absolute dependence and absolute recognition of the huge growing chasm between You and us.
As we fall from grace bar Your Spirit, who reclaims us, rejuvenates us, renews us, empowers us, enlivens us, emboldens us! Making it impossible to do that in front of any… or any part of Your creation, except by You! The perspicuity to know who we are dealing with there, what we are dealing with there, why we are dealing with it!
And how to use it inside our souls and out, never having to say no, Theochristological, human, material, financial, where we ought to say yes, we ought to say yes. You make that goal, that awesome value-related Theochristological, human, material and financial, You make it real, You make it possible!
No one on earth, no one without You, without You involved 100%, 100% not 99%. 100%, 100%, a million percent, a trillion percent, eternally and infinitely percent.
Without You, this would be nonsense, never having to say no, where we ought to say yes, a nonsense, an absolute nonsense, an absolute nonsense, just a pipe dream.
And this Jesus talk is very intelligent and these talkers of Jesus are very, very wise and intelligent, despite themselves!
What is the use of succeeding without Your glory being made manifest and known to man in a way that they can never look away, that they will want that more than their addictions, more than their sin, they will want Your glory to affect their children, their lives, their homes, their protection, their value, their future, their eternity and infinity, my Lord, my God, my Saviour, my everything, our everything.
We live in Your Spirit and we thrive and we continue on an upward spiral of level four to thrive, my Lord, my God.
Never enjoyed falling on my face more than falling on my face for You.
Just to have you every second, every moment, Your gaze, Your fond, loving, caring, protective, all loving gaze on us.
Your spiritual hugs that will precede that physical one soon in Your Kingdom.
Oh how I look forward to you, how we just don’t even have the perspicuity yet to even understand that, how beautiful, how amazing, it’ll be beyond anything we’ve ever known because of the Kingdom we’ll be walking around with a spirit level that compares not to any tech we have today but far beyond.
We know nothing, You know everything, including that which is not a thing yet!
Wow, wow, talking about intelligence, talking about not knowing how to direct our step, it’s You guide that step and when we can’t, you pick us up and when we see that single footprint, we think it’s us, we think we’ve been marooned!
Meanwhile we have not and we ask You to please provide us for what You feel fit because even when we ask You for something, someone, some way, somehow, some Theochristological, human, material, financial substance, we think we need it but we want it, we think we want it but we need it and we want and need it.
But You Father, huh… You know exactly what we need and what we want, like exactly!
And You know perfectly the breadth and depth and height that we thank You, we leave this prayer in Your care, in Your love, in Your keeping and in Your power.
Again, we repent and we love You. Only because You help us love You, because we’re rubbish at love.

This prayer really touched me, how Paul speaks about our Father’s deep love and those spiritual hugs. I have to confess I do not appreciate that intimacy and private relationship with Him the way Paul does and I yearn for that. Thank you Paul, and most of all thank You God for being You.
Amen. Please help us to love you more, Father, and to love ourselves and each other. In Your name, amen.
We do love you, Father, but we know that it is you who helps us to love you, so we are eternally grateful for that. You know what we want and you know what we need, and we hold to you to facilitate the receiving of that. Thank you so deeply, Father, I and we are blessed to have the truth of you…So blessed!!
Amen. How blessed we are because of His grace and what He gives us.

Amen – Heavenly Father please help me with your Holy Spirit so that I can repent, and work towards loving you and appreciating you more and more throughout my day 🙏

Thank you for what is a really powerful prayer. The distinction that no success is of any real and true value without God and without it glorifying Him is profoundly true and impactful. Without Him, it is all, as Solomon would say, chasing after wind. It is all vanity, only vanity and that is empty and meaningless! This is why so many with great wealth are so dark and unhappy and bitter even, filled with greed. Without God they will never be filled, it will never mean anything, it will never give them what they need. Praise God, He is the source of all value, the source of all love, meaning and purpose. Thank you Father and all glory be to you in your name!
Father, no one will ever love us like You love us and we don’t deserve it. In my imperfection, I don’t think I will ever be able to feel how sacred and precious Your love is but please keep working on and in my heart to do so 🙏
