Paul S Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer Repenting For the State of Humanity – 19th Feb, 2026

Grace and peace in Christ to you,

Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, these prayers are taken from the last several years of Paul’s journey with our Lord. They are incredibly valuable to witness his ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Listen below for the prayer:

Father, thank You for Your love. Forgive us, forgive us, please. We repent.

We’re so sorry You have to put up with us. So sorry that You have to work so hard just to help us because of our abuse of our choices.

Right from the beginning of The Fall all the way to now. We’re so sorry that You made this wonderful, perfect universe only for Your most intelligent form of life, humans, Your most intelligent form of flesh anyway, humans, that You have to work so hard and put up with so much evil. Having to put up with the rape of children, the torture of children and animals, the torture and the destruction all around You.

You have to watch that until the time that You know is right is right for You and your wrath to act. For You and Your love to act in equal measure, if not in proportionate measure.

You know, it is embarrassing, pathetic that You have to work so hard and put up with so much tyrannous, heinous evil for so long. Watch Your people slay each other, rape each other.

So when I say I repent, that’s part of what I mean. It’s… I come in humility because at the very least I’m humble because of Your spirit, at the very most because of Your spirit, at the very least. Where I can be humble if at all on my own, through Your love and your perspicuity, it’s embarrassing to be human.

With the gifts You’ve given us, the love You’ve given us, the care You’ve gifted us, everything, systems, processes, value, abundance!

Yet still poverty everywhere! There’s not a human being that isn’t suffering from poverty, not one. Because if you’re poor in spirit, if you’re poor in love, if you are a beggar in moral, ethical and ethics and love, if you are a beggar of the Holy Spirit. If you are a destitute demon, when you have every chance to be in Your Spirit, it’s embarrassing.

There’s not one person on this earth that isn’t poor in spirit in some way. We either acknowledge it and act on it through Your Spirit or we don’t. But everyone’s poor in spirit.

Everyone is a beggar. Everyone, Father, on this earth, I’ve never met anybody that is high in spirit… Yes, high in pluck and nonsense. I’ve never met anybody that’s super, super high in spirit.

Now that I’ve felt Your glory, now that I’ve felt and seen Your Spirit, I’ve not seen that yet. After 60 years, Father, working with human beings, and you know this more than I do, it’s only through You that my faith in man exists, that my belief in man and woman exists. It’s only through You, which is why we’re here.

It’s not the flavour of the month, you know, it’s going to be Buddhism next year.

This is what it is.

And I’ve tried New Age, you know why? Because New Age could still be about me.

And I paid a terrible price for that. And how many people here are in the same place still trying to do that? And it’s wrong. And only through Your grace and Your perspicuity and the lessons You allow them to learn will they get to know how stupid that is.

There’s not a poverty, there’s not a pauper alive that isn’t a pauper in true love, that isn’t a pauper in true spirit, and that isn’t a pauper ethically and morally. So well done. Ching ching. You got all this money in your pocket, well done.

But you are absolutely bankrupt in every other area of your life as a human being. As a human being, you’re bankrupt. As an automaton, you’re rich.

But as a human being, you’re bankrupt. And that’s how it is, Father. That’s how they are.

That’s how we are. When you start to realise that you don’t have humility, it’s because you don’t know that. If you don’t know, it’s because you’re not looking for it.

There’s only one way you can look for it, through and with You, and through Your eyes, through Your glory. Please, it’s in Christ. Don’t have faith in one in a million, one in a million, one in a hundred, one in a thousand?

Those odds are too terrible to put faith in humanity. It’s a terrible ratio, one to a hundred, one to a thousand, one to a million. Terrible ratio to put your faith in humanity.

Don’t do it. Really don’t. But put your faith in Christ. So I thank you for that, Father, and the perspicuity, the knowledge, the understanding, the intuition, the spirit, the paradigms, to realise how far humanity has fallen.

Because I don’t believe there’s many people on this earth that have realised how far humanity has fallen, as deep as You’ve helped me realise, through my work, through Your work with me, through my work with You, and so on, and so forth, and work with the people here.

So, Father, thank you for Your guidance, for Your hand, for Your protection, for helping me in my health, helping everyone here with theirs.

Thank You for the protection of this growing, committed group of soldiers in Christ, men and women here that are growing out of old infantilisation, institutionalisation, opening the eyes of perspicuity. And thanks to You, I have brothers and sisters in Christ now. I don’t feel alone anymore.

When this group stands together in You, with eyes bright and gleaming in Your Spirit, that’s not easy to mock. You’re mocked, but not easily. And it’s a terrible price you’ll pay for that.

And as You write, as you put in Your logos, the part of Your Logos you shared with us, “vengeance is mine. Vengeance is mine”, says your Father, God, the Commander-in-Chief. “I will repay”.

I will hold them accountable, in other words. Thank You, Father. So when I say I repent, when I say we repent, this is, in our limited, but for the grace of God, increasingly more profound in what’s real and what’s not.

Including being committed to what is real and what’s not, even when it’s excruciatingly inconvenient.

At the very least, if not downright and excruciatingly and unbearably and intolerably painful, bar Your ability, Your love, Your power, Your Spirit to infuse us, fortify us, wisen us, to be able to build value.

Not as plucky little teenagers or terrible twos, grown men and women who can, with wisdom and love and through and with your power, be responsible with it.

Never having to say ‘no’, where we ought to say ‘yes’ without one iota of big headedness or glory for ourselves, but glory in God, glory in the collective, glory in everything. What a lie that is to pray to You, get the power and then walk around like glory boy and girl. It’s just embarrassing!

Just the thought of it. It’s just embarrassing. Spiritual plagiarism, how awful.

Spiritual impostors, how awful. Theochristological impostors, pharisees, hypocrites, paraders, posturers, deceivers.

How often do we smile because it’s the boss? How many times do we smile because we’re insecure? How many times do we smile but it’s all deceptive? How many times do we smile more to a stranger than we do to our own family? Because we’re false.

It’s so true. If that’s where we are, Father, where are we with everything else? Whoa, boy, boy, boy, boy. Not enough time for this prayer to lay it all out.

And when we get this, and to the degree we get this, and only in Your Spirit will we get this, are we able to look at the system in this world with reality and truth! Where our decisions are based on those realities and truths.

And only then, and only then in Your protection, and only then in Your love, and only then in Your marvellous intellectual eternity and infinity, can we then go and build value where we never have to say ‘no’, where we ought to say ‘yes’. We ask You this through your Son, Jesus Christ’s Name.

We ask you to forgive our many sins and shortcomings.

Amen.

Godโ€™s grace to you,

Paul S. Waugh

Phew… we’re not existing the way God intended us to live. I’m increasingly upset and disturbed by the state we are in, but Paul, once again you are articulating that reality so much more vividly and accurately. God bless you for all you see. God bless God for all He knows and has known since He chose to conceive us…sorry Father.

Amen. A powerful prayer about the desperately imperfect state we are in and the hope that our Heavenly Father provides. I look back to my times exploring New Age and feeling how empty it was whilst trying to convince myself it was meaningful. Thank God for His Word, His Son, Christ’s Atonement and the Holy Spirit.

Amen and Amen. ๐Ÿ™ Thank You Father and thank you Paul for bringing us back to our lowliness but also the grace and privilege we have in being saved by Christโ€™s atonement. We do not deserve Your mercy but still You grace us with mercy. Help us to see and know our dependency on You at all times.

So, so true, we must repent of our deepest sins and wrongdoings. To be free and loving towards you, Father, is the only way. I found that prayer deeply touching and it hit the right notes with me, this sinful, fearful person. God bless you for such an important message in this wonderful prayer. This is a prayer of someone who is searching their soul and grieving over their sin, as we all ought to be because we are so utterly spiritually bankrupt, destitute and wretched without God, without Christ and the Holy Spirit. We have so much to repent for. Father thank you for your servant Paul and thank you for the grace of your Spirit that not only gives us life, but through our repentance lifts us out of the dark dank mire of our depravity and iniquity, please help us to walk with you today and help make our paths straight! In Jesus’ name ๐Ÿ™

Father God, we humble ourselves before You and repent for the state of humanity โ€” for where we have strayed from Your truth and Your heart. Cleanse us, correct us, and draw us back to You. Amen. ๐Ÿ™

Thank you for this prayer. The way we live as human beings is not how God intended us to. I pray that we are able to see and repent for our sins and wrongdoings and that we come closer to God, face up to our fears and can become more loving, every day a little bit more. Amen.

Father, I pray that you grace me with becoming spiritually rich in you, in all the areas that I and we need to be rich, not through the flesh, but by the spirit. I pray that you forgive me for my disgraceful sinful state. Iโ€™m your name, Amen
