Paul S. Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer of Gratitude, Challenge, and the Difference Between Faith and Belief – 13th Jan, 2026

Greetings in Christ everyone,

Here’s today’s Daily Prayer:

Father, good morning. Thank you so much for your interventionsβ€”your timing interventions, your perspicuity interventions. You know, my jaw hits the floor, and I’m a person, thanks to you, who through my life has been handling, being aware of, understanding, knowing, and having a strong intuitive connection with danger and with opportunity alike.

You have helped me, on a secondary level, become a good fighter, but on a primary level, to be openβ€”genuinely openβ€”responsible, and responsive to challenge, which is very rare for human beings to be able to do that. They put on a brave face, but they’re not really that.

And I just want to thank you for making me a warriorβ€”that I’m not only open to challenge, but able to be challenged, able to challenge back, and able to challenge back gracefully. Because that’s what you want me to do. You don’t particularly want me to be a fighter; you want me to be a challenger.

And that’s what I’m recommending here and this is what everybody at Lighthouse is lacking. Because they have the intelligence, they have the education, for the most part, that could make them humanβ€”materially, financiallyβ€”very, very valuable intrinsically and extrinsically, never having to say no, where they ought to say yes at quite a high level, but aren’t. Because they’re not open to challenge, they’re frightened of challenge and unable to move forward with grace, with power, with prayer, and to challenge.

So we want to talk today, Father. I ask You to bless this call today as I talk about faith and belief, and the relation between the two, and just how important it isβ€”how vital, how critical it isβ€”that we can’t do this without this.

You have made it very clear in your Word, very clear in your own words on earth, in the flesh, saying that faith is important and good and great, but it’s belief you want. Well, what’s the difference then? And today we will discuss that with your perspicuity, with your love, and with your care, with your guidance.

We’ll help each other understand as we ask you, through your Son, to forgive us our many sins. To thank you for your atonement of our sins, for receiving our contrition, and to help us get deeper in that contritionβ€”contrition that is positive, upbuilding, progressive, that is regenerate, that isn’t negative and destructive, but is very positive moving forward, however painful.

So we ask you this through your Son, Jesus Christ’s name.

Amen.

God’s grace to you,

Paul S. Waugh

Father, You know my heart. Thank You for Paul’s commitment to truth and reality at a root level. Please clean my heart to be rid of pride and immaturity to both embrace being challenged on truth and to challenge lies to defend the truth You are.

Amen, please help us Lord to face our challenges where they are most painful, through your Spirit and through your guidance and we ask you to increase our faith and belief in you and all that you have in store for your people. And help us to endure whatever suffering you need us to go through to become like you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God’s interventions and timing are so perfect and only become more clearly so, as time goes on, and we realise looking back how absolutely on time our Father always is.

Father please teach me and us patience and trust to grow in our faith in You. Help me and us to be open to challenge and to grow according to your will and according to your timing, not ours! πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒ±

Amen. The fact that God can still work such miracles in this community though we are so lacking just shows how great and good He is πŸ™β€οΈ
