Paul S Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer for Direction, Renewal, and Wholehearted Service – 15th Feb, 2026

Grace and peace in Christ to you,

Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, these prayers are taken from the last several years of Paul’s journey with our Lord. They are incredibly valuable to witness his ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Listen below for the prayer:

Father, please direct us, lead us, teach us, show us how to get it right. Direct us, grant us the strength with Your Spirit, with the faith of Your Spirit. Show us the way, the truth and the life, Father.

What do You want from us that we haven’t seen yet? Or we haven’t seen totally, or we haven’t seen enough? Please treat us as clueless. Please show us the way to Your Body, the truth of it and the truth that’s missing, the way and the truth that’s missing, the life, to restore it, to reignite that flame in their soul, in their hearts, their beings, to serve You, for Your glory.

Because we are a part of that glory, for Your glory, not to make You glorious, but as part of Your glory, out of this inglorious, debauched, sinful state, a miracle, please, Lord. Where you see fit, to take this bunch, out of 70-80,000 people we’ve worked with since 2004, Lord, You know every one of them.

This little crew is left, this little motley crew, please fill our hearts with Your zeal, Your love, Your power, Your intelligence, with Your intellect, where we need it, at the level we need it, no less, no more.

For You, for us, only You, Father, please, not one more second to be wasted.

Please engage us, like only You can, despite ourselves! Let us work with the Body, let us work with ourselves, as part of that Body, to generate it, to find it, to love it, to nurture it, to serve it, with our whole hearts, our whole minds, our whole beings, our whole spirits.

Please, Father, every day, make it absolutely special, that every one of us know we’ve lived that day, learnt that day, worked that day, served that day, in Your being, in Your love, Lord! In Your heart, Lord!

Please, we beg You, we beg You, unashamedly, please, put us to work in Your service, Lord, because nothing less will do, nothing less will do!

We thank You for Your suffering, we thank You for Your willingness, we thank You for coming down to earth and being one of us.

You deemed us so important. You didn’t just write the Bible, You demonstrated it, You suffered through and with it for us. Thank You for every sin I’m yet to do, You’ve already paid for that sin, in pain, in suffering, in hell, in darkness, You walked through the fire, through the valley of death, and where You didn’t walk for us, You carried us, hence we are here.

And your enemies, our enemies are starting to get dissolution, Father, because we just come back stronger, we’re supposed to be dying like everyone else dies, right, at the hands of the legacy media, not us, not You, not us, meaning You.

We thank You for the beautiful atonement, that without it, I just want to go to sleep and not wake up. Why go through this, this is crazy?

With that in mind, on behalf of everybody here, I would like to ask You to please receive our contrition, receive our conscientious atonement, through You. Please Lord, please, we beg, beseech, knock, ask, where we never have to say no, where we ought to say yes in You.

Please grant us the means and the way, in Your name, we ask through that atonement, to free us, to live in You, after having died in You. We died a death in You, You died that death for us, we died in You, our former selves died in You.

Please liberate this new life, to serve You my Lord, from this moment on, please, please dad, a dad that’ll never walk out, a dad that’ll never leave us, a dad that always wants the best for us. A dad who says no, because it’s best for us when He really wants to give us something we’ve asked for, because He loves us, because You do.

A dad that’ll always protect us, keep us safe, never abuse us, carry us where we stumble, pick us up where we fall, empower us, when we’re empty, to fill us up, with Your love, with Your joy, with Your intelligence, with Your ability to solve problems, my Lord.

Grant us your best, we want to go out there, and we want to produce value, human, material, financial, without any boundaries.

We want to say yes, where we ought to say yes, and not say no, without any boundaries. We want Your protection, without any boundaries, and we don’t deserve it at all!

We thank You, therefore, we thank You, through and ask You for forgiveness, through Your name, to the Father, to the Spirit, as our mediator, Lord, as our King, Lord, as our Redeemer. Lord, as our dad, our protector, our cultivator, our teacher, our mentor, our coach, our leader, our manager, our everything.

You are the way, the truth, the life, meaning the best way, the best truth, the best life, the best, the best! The greatest, we leave this prayer in Your hands, Father, with love, and respect, and faith. Faith we thank You for,

Amen.

Godโ€™s grace to you,

Amen. I am grateful for the reality that God can and does use ordinary, sinful and repentant people to do his work. When He does, it reveals His glory even more!
