Paul S Waugh’s Daily Prayer – A Prayer Cherishing God Opening Our Eyes – 26th Jan, 2026

Grace and peace in Christ to you,

Listen below to Paul’s Daily Prayer:

Father, thank You. Thank You. It is… thank You for opening our eyes.

We were blind and now we see. We can sing it every day because every day we’re a little less blind. Every day we can sing that and that be true.

You could literally sing it and in one minute it still be true. Because every minute of the day our eyes are opening a little bit more. Every second our eyes are unfolding, are opening.

And every day You’re giving us the opportunity to do our research and to look at things. You’re pointing us in the right direction, leading us, guiding us through Your Spirit. To find the things and then saying, well there’s one and a half billion Christians and there’s, I don’t know how many that are in the KOD at the moment, that are elect, but don’t know it. I get the feeling that You’re saying I’ll open their eyes, you put this in front of them. This Bible, this verse, this song, this picture, this publication, this bit of research, these distinctions, these facts, this evidence. I get it.

We all have a role to play in the Body and we’re all responsible to putting these things in front of each other, doing the homework, writing the articles, putting them in front of each other.

It’s not just Paul Waugh, it’s everybody.

So Father we repent. On bowed head and bended knee. We pray for the vulnerable, we pray for our enemies like, really, that they come to an accurate knowledge of You and we pray for their children, which are arguably even more vulnerable than any other children.

Eternity is the most serious business there is. There’s no more serious business in this world, than the life and business of eternity and the quality of it and what happens there and what side of choice we’re on on that continuum. We thank You that we are here on this side of it.

Father we ask you this through Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and we love You, very much.

Amen.

God’s grace to you,

Paul S. Waugh

Circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. – Romans 2:29
Lord thank You for the work you mercifully do in our hearts, to see and feel what we did not before inside and outside.

“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see”

Father, you have opened my eyes to see that which is around me, both good and evil. I pray you keep opening my eyes, please grace me with the greatest possible sight.

In your name, Amen

Amazing grace. It is certainly by God’s grace that I’m able to see the reality of God despite a world intent on focusing our attention and awareness away from our Heavenly Father. How incredible that there are those who will see the incredible gift of Christ’s atonement because of their eyes being opened.
