Good evening everyone,
Here’s today’s Daily Prayer:
Morning, Father. We are grateful—so made up—that we are able to come before you freely, as we are, through your Son Jesus Christ, in your Holy Spirit.
We come before you today, Father, to ask you, to petition you, to beseech you, to beg you, to plead with you—to request from you the desire and the ability to pray. We are praying, Father, to be able to pray. To be able, throughout the day, to walk in your Spirit; to walk in, with, for, to, and from your love; to walk in your service. Our Lord—our Lord whom we love—we want so desperately need to, so ardently, to love you and to serve you in your Spirit, in prayer.
Not once or twice a day, but all through the day—to walk sometimes in our minds, in our hearts, in silence, in our spirits, in our bodies, in solitude, hidden and unheard except by you. To walk through the day, Father, with you on our lips: speaking, whispering aloud, speaking aloud, hearing aloud.
We ask you, Father, to help us with our ability, our willingness, and our desire to pray—for prayer, for clarity, for the knowledge and the love to pray. In other words, Father, we ask you to help us to see with greater perspicuity and clarity what we need to be able to see: your creation, the problems, the challenges, the opportunities out there; and the problems and challenges within—inside our own souls, inside our own bodies, inside our own minds, inside our own beings.
Help us to see both inside and outside our own bodies, inside and outside our own homes. We ask you to help us, Father, to pray in order to see all through the day—to walk with you, to talk with you, to share with you, to thank you, to express our love for you; our admiration of you; our need for you; our want for you; our desire for you; and for a life in you, in the way, the truth, and the life.
We ask you to help us see more clearer, so that we may be better in Spirit, in truth, in you, in love, and in service to you, Father—our Lord, our Commander-in-Chief, our mentor, our coach, our counsellor, our ultimate of all these things eternally and infinitely into your Kingdom and beyond. Father, how exciting, how wonderful, how blessed.
We ask you, while we see and while we be, to help us also be practical: to be able to do—and while doing, in prayer; while seeing, in prayer; while being, in prayer; while doing in prayer; while getting, receiving, creating, and reaping—having sowed in prayer, reaping in prayer. To do in prayer and to get in prayer, and then, Father, to give—both to our own families inside and to those outside our own doors. Never having to say no when we ought to say yes, because constantly, Father, we are empowering value through your prayer: value in all its forms, starting with you—the ultimate and eternal value, our Lord.
Then moving into service for you—the value that it is, the value that it creates, the value that you are, and the value that you create. And indeed, the value of being and living in Spirit and in prayer. Because there is one way, Father, that I have learned—one way you have shown me—to stay in Spirit: to talk to you, to walk and pray in an undertone day and night. And now to read your Word in an undertone, and while reading, to get the gist, the message of your Logos, and to express it back to you in prayer. It is the most marvellous way of reading and assimilating and feeding the Spirit I have ever come across—ever could have realised—and it is beautiful and wonderful, and we thank you.
And my Lord, my Father, my God—our God, our Father, our Lord, our mentor, our coach, our counsellor, our leader, our teacher, our Dad—we ask you to forgive us, please. Not only the sins we commit, but the sin we are in our flesh. To leave this flesh into Spirit and into truth and into you, where fear becomes relegated to the past.
So that we, Father, may start receiving your gifts of Holy Spirit; so that we, planted in streams of water, may produce the fruit of such Holy Spirit; and through that Holy Spirit and those fruits, more value—theochristologically in you, human in you, materially in you, and financially in you—inside and outside our own doors.
We thank you, Father, through this, through your Son Jesus Christ’s name, being fully repentant.
Amen.
God’s grace to you,

Amen! Bless you Paul
Thank you so much for this stirring and exceptional prayer. This is one of the most beautiful prayers I have ever been graced with.
Thank you to Paul for clarifying what it looks like to stay in spirit – to be in constant communication with Christ, to walk with Him and pray in an undertone, to declare His holiness and power back to Him…what a privilege and an honour it is to be able to speak with Christ and praise and worship all He is and does, even as an imperfect wretch.
God bless us as we learn to truly appreciate our Father and all He has graced us with when we deserve absolutely nothing from Him 🙏
I’m thankful for you expressing the way you pray and endeavouring for us to experience it too, the ceasing connection with God. So beautiful and so guiding. Thank you and God bless x x
Thank you for this prayer of connection with God and to be more in Spirit. It helps me to feel more what’s really important in life. God bless
