Grace and peace in Christ to you,
Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, these prayers are taken from the last several years of Paul’s journey with our Lord. They are incredibly valuable to witness his ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Listen below for the prayer:
Father,
You know I realise the level of sin… Father, You know, the lack of perspicuity, the lack of intelligence across the board, and the lack of self-awareness. The lack of what’s real, the lack of what’s real and what’s true.
Even what’s true about falsehoods, their falsehoods, our falsehoods, the falsehoods, the demonic, satanic falsehoods.
You taught me to reset. You showed me to reset.
And I was immediately… and quicker than I ever have, able to repent, able to ask for forgiveness, straight up, by Your grace. I get that, Father. I get it very clearly.
I get that I am here to help. I’m here to serve You. And I’m here to work with those who You send me and who You have cleared to work with me. And I’m indeed working with to regenerate and to prepare, to train as warriors or not, as Your, not my expectation. I’m making it about me. It’s not about me!
It’s about You and about between You and them. It’s not my expectation. It’s yours.
Your Lighthouse. Not any lighthouse. Not any lighthouse.
Your Lighthouse. Your house of light. Your house of love.
Your lighthouse that signals the way, the truth, and the life through the storm. The last storm before true reform, pre-rapture. My expectations, Father, are now zero.
My goals are 100. Body, heart, mind, and spirit. Absolutely.
Over time, over eternity, over infinity. In space-time and non-space-time. Universe and external to it.
Through Your way, the truth, and the life, which covers both space-time and non-space-time. Eternally and infinitely. What a genius You are that that is even possible.
But… declare 100% while having expectations of zero, one can be balanced finally. One can be measured. One can be cool. One can be more objective. While enjoying, while learning, while developing subjectively, one can be objective by not expecting a imperfect person to be negative cynically.
Not expecting them to be positive, unrealistically.
But, Father, to have everything at zero, and that whatever comes negatively, well, there it is. And whatever comes positive, well, there it is.
And if I feel something good and happy, I must remind myself that it’s not up to me to feel happy about it. It’s not up to me to feel blessed about it. It’s up to me to be grateful for You. To appreciate You, not them. It’s not about me. I get it.
I think that this realisation You put me, You have taken me, and You have recalibrated me. Recalibrated my body, my heart, my mind, my spirit. You’ve recalibrated me, Father.
Reset.
And this is going to be a lesson for others here who don’t have to wait till they’re 60, nearly, to do this, to feel this, to know this, to get this, to be this, to do this, to see, be, do, get, give this. This is profound, because my expectation is at zero, then everything can be measured well, but not judged. Measured well, but not resentful. Judged well, but not overjoyed, happy, cockahoop, punching the air like I’ve got something to do with it.
You know, if I play golf, and someone hits the ball in the bush, I don’t take it personally. If someone hits one down the middle, I don’t take it personally! I’m talking about playing golf with a partner in a team, where everything I, we hit is on our team.
Everything we miss is on our team. That’s like Lighthouse. It’s like any football team, any rugby team, any team at all.
Inside and outside Your body. The same principle applies. I don’t celebrate when someone hits it down the middle like I did it. And I don’t celebrate when someone gets a hole-in-one, because I did it, or because it’s about me. It’s about them. Them in the team.
And it’s about the team. And it’s about them. And it’s about them.
And it’s about the team. And it’s not about me. Whatever.
The expectation is you serve. And seriously, I get it.
And I thank You, Father.
I thank You, Father, for everything. And everyone else. Keep them safe on that road.
We ask You this. Ask You to forgive our many sins and shortcomings. Amen.
God’s grace to you,
