Despite Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple attacks on him, he recently joined a call with the Lighthouse team for prayer. We are sharing this prayer on Paul’s behalf as he rests, recovers, and draws strength in our Lord.

Father, thank you for this last evening. Thank you for every day I’ve ever had before now that I’ve not thanked you for. Thank you for protecting me and us last night. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Yahweh. Thank you, Adonai. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you for your immense love.
Father, I love you through that love, because of that love, because you grant me this love. I love you, my Lord. I love you with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and I love you with all my being. It’s not much, but Father, I love you with all of it. All I am, all you have given me, and all that you created me as, not what I’ve become.
Please, my Lord, grant me your love today more than ever before, so that I may today love you more and trust you more than I ever have by the close of this day. Father, so that I may take that love, enjoy that love, feel the joy, the peace, and the love of that love, that I may increase in love and spirit, my Lord, my fruitages in you. That I may be planted as streams of water, so that everything I do will succeed and everything we do will succeed in its season. That I may love the father, my brother, and sister in you. That I may love the fellow body and cross from the love you have given me and the love in you that you have given them, my Lord. I now pray that they may love me, love each other, and love you back with full trust, legitimate and authentic love and trust.
Father, this ship is going down. This terrible ship, this ghastly ghost ship, this demonic, bedevilled, evil, diabolical ship is hellbent to hell. This valley of death liner, where we have a blood covenant with you, where others have a blood covenant with Satan, and the ninety-nine point nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine percenter is right there between the two in the valley of death, locked in, imprisoned, indoctrinated, duped, fooled, as well as willingly and willfully being part of that with great pride, at expense of a relationship with you and rejection of you.
Father, today, please may I advance my journey because you have loved me, because I have loved you, because you have loved us, and because we have loved you.
Father, I pray for us. I pray for Lighthouse. I pray for our enemies. I pray for the mission field. I pray for the body of Christ. I pray, Father, that the best possible outcome, by the time Armageddon happens, happens—the best possible outcome. I pray for that. I know that’s your aim, and you want that aim for us. You want us to have that aim. You want us to wake up in the morning and be aware that this ship is sinking and we’re working on it. We’re working through it. We’re on this mission field, and before I abseil down into this mission field, I pray for your protection, and I pray for your armour.
Father, please forgive me. Please forgive me for my sins and for where I get it wrong. I ask you this through your Son, Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

Amen. Wonderful prayer. Such a heartfelt and meaningful expression of what it means to connect with our eternal and infinite Heavenly Father. I appreciate how this prayer is in the context of the state of this world and hence the need for God’s protection.
Thank you for publishing this prayer!! This is so valuable. I know I need this kind of fire, ignitor, catalyst to help me love God… to know Him, to cleave to Him, to want Him more than anything, I can feel as I type how meaningful that is, to love Him more than anyone or anything in the world, is so different to the life I’ve “lived” for nearly 40 years! Where I’ve chased people’s adoration of me as a young boy, chasing attention, where I’m yearning to be led by Him more and more.
