- The ultimate objective is eternal separation from God. In absolute contrast, our Lord Jesus Christ calls us to zero degrees of separation from Him, covered by His atoning blood on the cross and reconciled with Him in eternal perfection.
In Part One of this series, I named the crime: the Anti-Christ Establishment Cult’s Human Limitation Conspiracy.
In Parts Two and Three, I explained Lighthouse Global’s 22-year research journey: how the enquiry began with the human being, human limitation, value, survival and optimisation; how optimisation required truth; how truth led us to Christ; and how, from Christ, Satan’s world-system and the sovereignty war became visible.
That journey has now brought us to the Two Greatest Truths.
The Greatest Truth is The Divine, Eternal, Infinite, Universal Sovereign God.
The Second Greatest Truth is that there is Satanic opposition to the First Greatest Truth, centred in diabolical self-sovereignty.
This article, Part Four, dives deeper into that second truth: why Satan’s opposition to God necessarily becomes opposition to the human being made in God’s image.
Now, we must answer the questions underneath the whole series:
Why would Satan’s world-system conspire to limit and destroy humanity?
Why would the Establishment not want human beings to come into the optimal realisation of our God-given human potential?
It is as simple as it is complex.
Satan hates God because Satan is the father of diabolical self-sovereignty. He is not merely opposed to God from a distance. He competes with God, seeking what belongs to God alone, yet still remains completely dependent on God for his very existence.
Therefore Satan hates what bears God’s image.
That is the contradiction at the heart of diabolical self-sovereignty: the creation declares independence from the Creator while still depending on the Creator for breath, being and continuation of existence. That is true whether it appears in open atheism that denies God, or religious theism that names God while remaining consumed by self-rule through diabolical self-sovereignty.
This is the root.
If you miss this, you will get lost in pantomime politics, media soap operas, education policy, economic systems, legal battles, family dysfunction, technology, entertainment, psychology, economics, social engineering and a thousand branches, while the thing underneath them all remains untouched.
The root is spiritual and biblical: Satan’s rebellion against God, his hatred of God’s image in the human being, and his attempt to separate the creation from our sovereign Creator.
The Human Being Is Not an Accident of the System
Scripture does not begin with the State, the school, the bank, the media, the market, the expert, the regulator, the court, the celebrity, the algorithm or the top-tier Establishment.
Scripture begins with God.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
Then God reveals what the human being is: made in His image, after His likeness, male and female, with dominion and responsibility under Him.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” — Genesis 1:27
There it is.
The human being is made in the image of God, not in the image of the State, the school, the bank, the mainstream media or the anti-Christ Establishment cult.
That means we are not merely economic units, taxpayers, voters, consumers, patients, debtors, workers, social-media profiles, psychological labels, data points, demographics, “service users” or problems to be managed.
The human being is an image-bearer.
That is why the Human Limitation Conspiracy is so serious. It is not merely that people underperform or people feel a bit unfulfilled in their lives. It is that beings made in the image of God are being separated from God’s design, truth, love, Word, Spirit, people, Kingdom and purpose.
That is not an oversight.
That is spiritual war.
The War Is About Sovereignty, Worship and Image
The war is about power, control, value and greed.
But above all, it is about sovereignty and worship.
The First Greatest Truth is The Divine, Eternal, Infinite, Universal Sovereign God. Satan’s rebellion is the refusal of that truth. He cannot overthrow God’s sovereignty, so he works to separate the human being from the truth that God is sovereign.
That is why the Second Greatest Truth matters. It is the vast, real, catastrophic truth of Satanic opposition to God — the truth about the lie, the truth about anti-truth, the truth about evil’s rebellion against the divine sovereignty it can never overthrow.
That is why his first recorded strategy with humanity was not visible violence, but corrupted truth.
He did not begin by putting Adam and Eve in chains. He began with the very first question ever posed in the Bible, and indeed all human history. He began by questioning God’s Word: “Did God really say…?” Then he offered the creation a false sovereignty:
“You will be like God, knowing good and evil.” — Genesis 3:5
That is the original human limitation event.
Satan presented separation from God as elevation, rebellion as optimisation, distrust of God as enlightenment, and diabolical self-sovereignty as freedom.
But the Fall did not release human potential. It mutilated and corrupted it. It brought shame, fear, hiding, blame-shifting, alienation, death and separation from God.
So when the modern Establishment tells human beings that the road to freedom is separation from Christ, Scripture, conscience, God’s law, family order, the Body of Christ and truth, it is not progressive.
It is Eden repackaged.
End of.
Satan’s Objective Is Limitation and Destruction
Jesus Christ says of Satan that he was a murderer from the beginning, that there is no truth in him, and that he is a liar and the father of it:
“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” — John 8:44
So we begin there.
Satan is a liar and a murderer. He does not merely mislead. He destroys.
Jesus Christ then gives the contrast in one verse, and it is the whole Human Limitation Conspiracy in miniature:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10
Christ is The Life.
Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy that life.
Satan cannot create life; he can only corrupt it. He cannot give true identity; he can only counterfeit it. He cannot regenerate; he can only degenerate. He cannot produce communion with God; he can only manufacture separation from God and then train the human being to call that separation freedom.
Because the human being is made in the image of God, the human being becomes the site of his attack.
Human limitation is Satan’s vandalism of the image of God.
And we must look clearly at where that vandalism is ultimately aimed.
It does not end with temporal underperformance, broken families or institutional enslavement in this life. Those are merely the staging grounds.
Satan knows his own judgment and eternal damnation are already fixed and sealed. He cannot overthrow God, undo God’s sovereignty or escape the lake of fire prepared for him and his fallen angels. Because he cannot strike the Creator directly, his malice turns against the image-bearer:
He wants to drag humanity into hell with him.
Hell is the ultimate, final degree of separation from God for all eternity:
“They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might” — 2 Thessalonians 1:9
That is the final destination of Satan’s human limitation programme: maximum eternal separation from God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ desires the absolute opposite. Where Satan drives humanity toward eternal damnation and total separation, Christ died and rose to bring us into zero degrees of separation with Himself and the Father in eternal perfection:
“that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” — John 17:21, 23
Consider that contrast forensically.
Satan offers false self-sovereignty, delivers earthly limitation and misery, and drags the deceived soul into eternal separation in Hell.
Our Lord Jesus Christ asks for true repentance; on the cross He breaks our false self-rule, by His blood He restores the optimal realisation of our God-given human potential, and unites us in eternal perfection with the only ultimate Sovereign forever.
Why Human Limitation Is in Satan’s Interest
Satan does not want human beings to realise their God-given potential because a human being restored in Christ becomes dangerous to Satan’s kingdom.
A truthful human being exposes lies. A repentant human being breaks pride. A responsible human being refuses learned helplessness. A courageous human being resists intimidation. A loving human being defeats hatred. A discerning human being sees through propaganda. A spiritually nourished human being cannot be so easily starved by the system. A person in true fellowship cannot be so easily isolated. A person rooted in Christ cannot be so easily uprooted by man. A person who fears God cannot be so easily governed by the fear of man.
That is why the world-system must limit the human being.
Limited people are governable. Dependent people are manageable. Frightened people are containable. Isolated people are exploitable. Spiritually starved people are deceivable. Dissipated people cannot function as whole people.
Human bonsais, stunted and restricted, are easier to pull out than human oak trees.
That is not rhetoric. That is the fully evidenced reality of what has been done to us.
So the reason is clear. Satan must limit the image-bearer.
Part Five in this series will explore how that limitation is delivered, how the Edenic lie is industrialised, how the Establishment keeps the human being small, and how the world-system blinds, separates and diabolically controls.
The Answer Is Regeneration in Christ
The answer to Satan’s world-system is not human self-exaltation.
It is not New Age human enlightenment and awakening. It is not self-help rhetoric with some Bible verses attached. It is not political salvation, institutional reform alone, therapeutic management, confidence training, rugged individualism or anything else.
The answer is regeneration in Jesus Christ.
The same Jesus who exposes the conspiracy is the Jesus who restores the human being.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36
That freedom is not diabolical self-sovereignty. It is not the creation ruling itself. It is freedom under God: truth, repentance, conscience, love, obedience, fellowship, responsibility, value creation and returning to the sovereign Lord who made us.
A truthful, repentant, responsible, loving, courageous, Christ-centred human being exposes the lie, refuses the idol, resists the system, builds fellowship, obeys God rather than man, and moves toward the optimal realisation of their God-given human potential.
Part Four has shown why Satan’s world-system must limit humanity: because the Second Greatest Truth (Satanic opposition to The Divine, Eternal, Infinite, Universal Sovereign God) cannot tolerate the human being restored in Christ, alive to truth, repentant before God, joined to the Body of Christ, and moving toward the optimal realisation of our God-given human potential under the only sovereign Lord.
In Part Five, we move from the spiritual reason for human limitation to the operational system by which that limitation is delivered.

This insight makes my stomach churn, but it is so accurate. To see the Edenic lie, that Satanic lie repeated, knowing how it has corrupted me, how it has corrupted humanity, it puts into perspective all that is happening in the world, in culture etc. These are not just trends or just ideas, it is the most ancient of all spiritual wars, the original spiritual war and it is nothing to be snuffed at. We need writing like this to bring that to the surface so we can think about it, discuss it and expose it.

What has hit me so much through this is just how hard, how extremely hard, both Christ and Satan have worked and are working for completely different ends. Christ Jesus literally gave His entire life for me and us, to be with Him at a level of zero degrees, so that we would never be apart again – totally sinless, safe, free from sin, evil, perversion and all corruption. Satan has done everything he can to rip us away from God, so that we would be eternally separated from our Father forever. He knows where he is going, and what he deserves, and so he has to lie to get billions more to follow him blindly into hell. That is so, so stark for me to see the clear MO of both opposing sides and that no matter what Satan promises, to be clear, his goal is hell for us all. The more I reflect on the first lie in the Garden of Eden and its consequences, the more I can see how deeply it has affected humanity and how much we have fallen short of our God-given potential.

The contrast between what it means to live in this dark, Satanic world and what it means to live in Christ is significant. In many ways, the darkness helped me to see the light and then the light helped me to see the darkness. It’s moving to the point where I, in Christ, cannot help but see the dark reality in pretty much this whole world system that I was groomed to believe was acting in my best interests.
This series is bringing clarity, structure and clear reasoning as to what’s going on in this world and why. I feel the growing responsibility to alert the public on all that we’re discovering through our empirical research because of the eternal implications it has.
The more I reflect on this, the clearer it becomes that human limitation cannot be understood simply by looking at what is happening around us, because the real battle is both external and internal, in the systems we encounter and in what we allow to shape our own hearts, minds and choices. I completely agree with the article’s challenge to stop merely treating the symptoms and get to the spiritual root, because if humanity is made in God’s image, then separating people from God inevitably means limiting who they can become. Protecting and realising our God-given human potential begins with recognising the spiritual battle for who we are and whose sovereignty we ultimately live under. There it is, such a important distinction. Thank you very much.
Apparently one of the most powerful things that brought CS Lewis. to his faith in Christ was how JRR Tolkien helped him to see that every powerful and lasting story told by mankind has the same underlying story within it. That story lie about good vs evil, about love through great and honourable self sacrifice will always triumph over evil, about how the way things are isn’t how they ought to be and were meant to be. That loss of loved ones through death is painful because it is unnatural and that not what was meant to be. That there is an eternal reality beyond our current comprehension. It is the spiritual story that is told through the Bible and that we know deep down in our souls is true. That these things are far more serious and far deeper and more real than any fantasy or fairy story. Thank you for laying down the seriousness and reality of this spiritual war and what we are a part of. The true despicable nature of the enemy and all he represents and the incredible value and blessing that God bestowed on us originally and wants to restore us to through our repentance.
This is a hard hitting reality check – actually understanding how much Satan hates and wants to compete with God is incredibly sobering. What is also frightening is the degree to which Satan is envious of man and will do anything to hurt God and man by constraining and creating so much evil.

To know the contradiction at the heart of my diabolical self-sovereignty is that no matter my claim to independence from the One who created me, by default, I would not be alive, none of us would be including Satan, is incredibly humbling. Anything to distract and separate us from God is the MO of Satan and the diabolical establishment through which he works.
