Why Lighthouse Global Cannot Be, and Is Not, Inconsequential

Before we go any further, one conclusion is impossible: Lighthouse Global cannot be (and is not) inconsequential.

For more than five years, enormous media, legal, governmental and institutional resources have been mobilised against a small community. Paul S. Waugh estimates that the combined effort has involved tens of millions of pounds, hundreds of people and huge multi-agency teams. That estimate must ultimately be tested through an inspectable cost (a cost that the likes of the BBC and the UK Insolvency Service have refused to answer Freedom of Information Requests about), but the duration, breadth and intensity of the effort against such a small pre-startup, research community are already matters of public record.

Scale alone does not prove why this happened. It does, however, establish the question that cannot be avoided.

• If the case against Lighthouse Global is true, then those resources were mobilised because we represent a massive danger to Christians, vulnerable people and the wider public.
• If our case is true, they were mobilised because Lighthouse Global’s empirical and Christ-centred work represents a massive threat to systems dependent upon human limitation, institutional self-protection and diabolical control.

The attacks themselves do not make Lighthouse Global important. But the attacks revealed that those directing and sustaining the effort against us have regarded us and our work as profoundly consequential.

There is, therefore, a stark public-interest dichotomy:

Lighthouse Global is either hugely in the public interest, or grossly against it. Which is it?

The Two Cases

If the case made against Lighthouse Global is true, if this was a harmful and controlling organisation from which Christians, vulnerable people and the wider public required protection, then that case must be established through complete evidence. Whatever is true must be faced before God.

But if our case is true, if Lighthouse Global’s empirical and Christ-centred work contains knowledge of profound value to human beings, families and their eternal relationship with God, then what has been attacked is not merely the reputation of an organisation or a group of Christians. Work capable of helping people understand and overcome human limitation, in line with building a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, has been deliberately made socially contaminated. The result is the public has been dissuaded, even warned away, from examining it.

What If Lighthouse Global Is Right?

We are not asking you to believe us because we’ve simply stated whether or not we’re right.

Learn. Look. Become aware. Examine the evidence. Ask what it would mean if we are right.

What would it mean for you and your children if human limitation is not accidental, but is continually produced through the institutions, relationships and systems shaping your lives?

What would it mean if institutions you were taught to trust, like the BBC, can claim to act in the public interest while deliberately selecting the evidence, manipulating public judgement and restricting honest and meaningful engagement?

And what would it mean if Lighthouse Global was viciously attacked not because its work was worthless, but because what it has discovered in Christ is deeply valuable to human beings, families and their eternity? If that possibility is credible, what responsibility do you have to investigate rather than allowing fear or institutional authority to decide for you?

Those questions cannot responsibly be answered through claims or emotional arguments from either side. The two cases must be tested through evidence, chronology, human consequences, meaningful right of reply and what every person and institution did when correction became possible.

Where This Series Has Brought Us Thus Far

Across the first ten parts of this series, I have set out what the Human Limitation Conspiracy is, how our 22-year research journey led us to Christ, why Satan’s world-system attacks the image of God in humanity, how human limitation is produced through its weapons and institutional complexes, and how ordinary people become the micro-puppets who carry those weapons into actual human lives.

Part Eleven closes this opening movement by asking what responsibility follows from that diagnosis. Why can we not walk away from this work? And why, by the grace of God, will we not give up?

Before answering, we need to state clearly but briefly what Lighthouse Global’s work is, why it matters and why its public significance now requires the full evidential examination that the Public Interest Series will undertake.

Why This Work Is in the Public Interest

Lighthouse Global began with a devastating reality: we are barely taught what we need to survive, never mind being equipped for the optimal realisation of our God-given human potential. Over 22 years, that became a deep dive, a deep mining, milling and mulling over why human beings remain so limited and what genuine regeneration in Christ requires.

The public-interest case rests on three foundations:

• The Greatest Truth is the Divine, Eternal, Infinite and Universal Sovereign God. At the root of human limitation is the conflict between God’s sovereignty and diabolical self-sovereignty, as we discussed in Part Three. Making the self or an institution the final authority does not make us free; it makes us vulnerable to system-rule.
• Human beings are made in God’s image. We need the character, conscience, knowledge, skills, action and wisdom to mature responsibly beneath Him and realise our God-given potential.
• The self cannot regenerate itself. Our pursuit of truth at Lighthouse led us to Jesus Christ, the very Person of Truth, and to truthful fellowship, responsibility and restoration within His Body.

Lighthouse Global does not seek to replace individual self-sovereignty with the sovereignty of Paul S. Waugh, Lighthouse Global or any other human authority. Its purpose is accountable human agency under God. If that work is real, and it is, its value reaches far beyond Lighthouse to every human being and family.

Why This Work Threatens Diabolical Control

Satan’s strategy is separation, and his promise of self-rule ultimately produces system-rule. Lighthouse Global works in the opposite direction: helping people become answerable to God, examine evidence, strengthen conscience, take responsibility and stand together in Christ.

That threatens any system dependent upon frightened, fragmented and dependent citizens. A person who can think, test, pray and act beneath God’s sovereignty becomes harder to deceive and control, and a community thriving under His sovereignty becomes harder to silence.

Whatever the differing motives of those involved in the attacks, the efforts against Lighthouse Global have been intended to damage our credibility. Every article and broadcast has been created to frighten people away from us and our work. This is before the public would have the chance to examine our work for themselves. The Public Interest series will examine that claim, the competing case and the evidence in full.

Why We Must Correct the False Public Record

Correcting the false public record therefore matters to us personally, but not because we need the world to admire us. Our names, relationships and lives are not mere concepts and caricatures. False accusations affect the people we love, the work we can do and whether others are prepared to examine anything we place before them.

We are fallible human beings. We have sins, weaknesses and mistakes to face before God. If an allegation is true, it must be faced. If we have caused harm, we must repent and repair it. Christian calling is not immunity from scrutiny. However, our position, supported by the evidence we will place before the public, is that the allegations against us are overwhelmingly false.

But a manufactured public identity must not stand in place of the truth. Character assassination can warn people not to read, listen, ask questions, inspect evidence or meet the human beings concerned. The false public record becomes a barrier between the public and the work the targeted person may have been called to contribute.

Our reputation is not the ultimate end. Truth is. But reputation affects whether truth receives a hearing. Correcting a false public record is therefore not vanity; it is stewardship of the work, people and truth entrusted to us by God, standing for every pioneer in Christ who may be discredited before their work is examined.

Why We Cannot Give Up, for God, His People and the Vulnerable

The public importance of this work and correction of the false record matter enormously. But neither is our primary motivation.

First and above all, we fight for God. We fight because He is sovereign, because truth belongs to Him and because our lives and work must glorify and serve Him. God does not need human beings to preserve His throne. We need the obedience, courage and faithfulness to stand beneath His sovereignty when the world demands that we bow to its authority instead.

We fight for His people. We fight for our brothers and sisters in Christ who have been divided, spiritually starved, frightened into silence or trained to surrender conscience to family, church, media and institutional permission. We fight so Christians may recover truthful fellowship, test what they are told and live as the responsible Body of Christ rather than as isolated individuals managed by the world.

And we fight for the vulnerable. We fight for the child whose spirit is being crushed; for the wounded person made dependent upon systems that cannot regenerate them; for the citizen publicly accused without the reach or resources to answer; and for every person who has no faithful fellowship or human being prepared to stand beside them when institutional power closes in.

Our purpose is not merely to defend Lighthouse Global. It is to preserve within human lives the opportunity to know God, encounter truth, repent, heal, mature, love, serve and realise their God-given potential in Christ. Your life is sacred. Your life has eternal consequence. Protecting its God-given possibility is not selfishness. It is stewardship.

This is why the dichotomy and correction of the false public record matter. Whichever case is true, protecting God’s people and the vulnerable requires the complete evidence to be faced. We cannot allow character assassination to prevent people from examining work that may matter profoundly to their lives, families and eternity.

That is why we cannot give up.

Why We Will Not Give Up: Our Strength Is in Christ

And, by the grace of God, we will not give up.

Our strength is in Christ. We have been wounded, betrayed, smeared, exhausted and nearly crushed under the weight of this work, yet Jesus Christ has sustained us. Once He opens our eyes to suffering, He does not permit us to walk past it.

We fight for our lives and one another, not with hatred, vengeance or carnal violence, but with truth, lawful resistance, courage, fellowship, sacrifice and faithfulness to Christ. Christian love reaches even towards those who hate us. Calling people to repentance and defending human potential, the very potential they are trying to destroy, is not hatred. It is part of loving them.

A shining light does more than survive darkness. It makes the darkness visible so others can see a way through. We stand so others may learn to stand, and so those serving the system may still see the truth, repent and come out of it.

This is spiritual warfare. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We do not seek vengeance or return evil for evil. Our confidence is not that we cannot fear or fail, but that Christ can make us faithful.

The alternative is to pull the wool over our eyes. We will not do that.

The Answer Is Christ, Not Another Establishment

No institution can regenerate us. It can label, entertain, regulate or restrict. But Jesus Christ alone makes the dead alive.

The answer is not another Establishment, political idolatry, self-help, bitterness or revenge. It is truth, repentance, regeneration, fellowship, responsibility, sacrificial love and purposeful community in Christ.

This is where the opening movement of the Anti-Christ Establishment Cult’s Human Limitation Conspiracy Series has brought us. The first ten parts identified the conspiracy, its spiritual root, its internal human effects, its weapons, its institutional complexes and the micro-puppets through whom it reaches human lives. Part Eleven has established why we cannot and will not abandon the work of confronting it: for God, His people and the vulnerable.

The next part of the Human Limitation Conspiracy Series will examine the strategy beneath it: separation, and the call back to zero degrees in Christ, to God’s sovereign truth, order and life.

But the attack upon Lighthouse Global has also created a second responsibility. If this work is as consequential as the scale of the effort against us suggests, the competing cases must now be placed before the public and tested.

As more evidence enters the public and legal record, the time in which these questions can be dismissed without examination is narrowing. The truth will come to light. The question is whether we will prepare ourselves to recognise it and act faithfully when it does.

This work began in grief, continues in love and, by the grace of God, will never give up fighting the good fight. The good fight is the fight for God, His people, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and the vulnerable.

The answers to such questions is why the BBC did not allow myself and the team at Lighthouse Global to be involved in the production of their so-called documentary about Lighthouse Global.

In an alleged 18-month sham of a so-called investigation, they tried to hide it from us until two months before broadcast. However, we had discovered their insidious agenda more than 6 months before broadcast and immediately approached them, stating we wanted to be involved.

They initially ignored us because they didn’t want us to be fairly involved in a hit piece about us. In their words, “It is not BBC practice to respond to enquiries of this kind”. In other words, we couldn’t be part of their planned assassination of us. Finally, they deceived the British public by denying that we had proactively approached them for months, even though we have full evidence of this!

Since discovering the broadcast in August 2022, we have spent 4 years demanding the BBC give us a comprehensive right to reply by broadcasting our full evidence to all 140+ false claims made in A Very British Cult, with the same time, effort and money as our false accusers.

I have asked countless times for myself, Paul S. Waugh, who is behind the 22 years of empirical research at Lighthouse Global, to present the full facts, evidence and context live and unedited in real time under the bright lights of the studio. I have challenged the BBC to bring their best journalists, their lawyers, all their sources, all their experts and all their evidence. I’ll bring mine and the aim of this would be simple: to get to the truth.

Yet they simply won’t entertain this, because it was a hit piece.

We’ve demanded this comprehensive right to reply, we’ve pursued all the formal complaint channels, we’ve taken legal advice, we’ve campaigned, we’ve written, we’ve protested, we’re now lobbying, we’re now advocating and doing advocacy work as well as building institutes.

Why?

In order that we, as Christians and members of the public, in the public and human interest, are able to correct the falsified public record.

It’s got to the stage where they cannot even afford to bring attention to our website through their continued efforts in trying to destroy us.

They know that whatever they do is validating us. Any attention they create makes us even more relevant, because we are relevant. As our articles show, our research and work is wholeheartedly in the public interest because it is in the human interest, and ultimately in God’s interest, for His Glory.

Whenever they publish some trash about us, they drive hordes of people to our websites, especially those who are seeking the truth.

As a result they’ve even removed the TV broadcast of A Very British Cult from BBC iPlayer. They’ve been talking about doing a follow-up series for years now, but it keeps getting delayed because they can’t have a real, evidence-based conversation with me.

They simply cannot afford to give us the same time, money, resources and reach to respond to their provably slanderous falsehoods.

We have the evidence in hundreds of thousands of pages to counter their nonsense and the BBC know it.

There’s only one way they can put out as many falsehoods as they have about someone like us. That’s when the party they’re smearing has no voice, no reach and doesn’t have the same resources as the BBC.

Yet for the BBC to atrociously abuse and lie about members of the public, us and others, means we don’t owe them a licence fee. They owe us a refund, and they owe us compensation!

This is not just for us at Lighthouse Global, it’s for the entire British public who’ve been deceived for the last 100 years. We will expose every lie that the public has been forced to pay for.

This will be the work of the institutions that we’re creating.

Through the Class Action Lawsuit we’re now starting against the BBC, the public will get a refund for licence fees paid over at least the last 10 years.

Simply put, the truth cannot be this dispensable in the public interest and in the human interest.
